Jaipur – the Pink City


Jaipur, also known as the “Pink City” is the largest city and capital of Rajasthan located on the rugged hills of Aravalis which comprises the historic palaces, monuments and forts of the great maharajas of ages. The rich heritage and legacy of the city which came into existence in 18th century by the Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh for his remarkable approach and reign which make it the first planned city ever in India and thus how the city was named after him. A magnificent piece of Architecture and the efforts made under him that won’t fade away with time. Tourist these days from across India and abroad are looking for more Jaipur flights and all are availing cheapest flights to Jaipur for their ultimate vacation destination.



The title of The Pink City was tagged in the year 1876, when Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Albert arrived Jaipur the whole city was colored Pink in the honor of the Great Queen. It’s revealed from ancient books of Indian History that the city was designed by a Bengali Architect, Vidyadhar Bhattacharya. Jaipur has become one of the best tourist attraction locations in India.
