Common Wealth Games 2010 Delhi

Common Wealth Games, the greatest event for elite athletics & their sport which is held International and players from members of Commonwealth of Nations which come along after every 4 years. The Headquarters of CWG is situated in London, UK and 54 countries participate in total.


After so awaited, Commonwealth Games 2010, The vibrant city of New Delhi, will host the CWG 2010 in between 3rd October to 14th October 2010. In the past history, this is the second time that such kind of grand event will be organized in Asia and first time in India. Delhi is the capital city of India and is rich in culture and history. It stands on the western end of the Gangetic Plain and is bordered by the states of Uttar Pradesh and Haryana. Delhi has splendid and royal past places like Qutub Minar, Red Fort, Rajpath, India Gate etc. Delhi Government along with the Central Government has taken several initiatives to fulfill Delhi's green city agenda and u can see lakhs of plants are being planted for the occasion. Terminal T3 in IGI airport, New Delhi is becoming the successful change in the Indian Infrastructure, and also the gateway for travelers who can travel through cheapest domestic flight tickets to anywhere in India.


The necessary measures were taken highly and it’s implemented well

b) New Airport Terminal (T3) which will constitute many domestic flights in India for tourist from all over the world.

Beside the eco-friendly hybrid buses, Delhi government has also constructed an eco-friendly stadium for 2010's Common Wealth Games, the dome-shaped stadium is a perfect green zone. This stadium has sitting arrangement for 2,700 spectators and parking capacity for 500 cars. Around 104 CCTV cameras will be fitted on the periphery walls of the stadium.
