Kanpur – The Manchester of the East

Kanpur, the largest city in Uttar Pradesh is the ninth populous city in India and considered as one of the oldest industrial townships of North India. Kanpur is a city of industrial, religious and historic background which is located on the banks of Holy River Ganga. According to Ancient books, the city is believed to have been found by the Hindu King Chandel of the state of Sachendi.
