India is a booming country, and with the flouring and thriving financial system in the country, traveling by flights is such industry that has changed completely in last 6 – 7 years. There was an age where only limited travelers could fly through airlines; only the rich one could afford traveling by air planes with only few airlines like Air India, Indian Airlines, Jet Airways and Sahara.
But with the passage of time, more number of airlines joined the league and Air Deccan airlines was the first airlines ever who came up with their strategic idea of delivering low cost flight tickets because earlier due to expensive domestic flight tickets most people didn’t afford to buy and that’s how lot of the seats in the flight were left vacant, and the management had to start of. And in the coming years, more number of Airline Companies joined the industry.
Airlines like Spice Jet, Go Air, Jet Lite, Jet Konnect, Kingfisher, Kingfisher Red, and Indigo Airlines started of their business and with this flow they have now made most of the people of India to fly with them who didn’t afford earlier. They have targeted travelers who all travel through AC coaches in Indian Railway and they have succeeded in doing so. Now people could come on board and buy their flight tickets according to their desired destination.
India has now set its heads held high for the upcoming Common Wealth Games 2010 to be held in Delhi, The prior focus is made on the transportation for tourists and travelers that would be exploring the state from worldwide. Traveling through out the city has been made easy AC buses, Metro and domestic flights in India connecting to each and every city with the new world class T3 terminal in Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi.
